DEF LEPPARD: New Audio Interview With JOE ELLIOTT Posted Online

July 22, 2006

A 17-minute audio interview with DEF LEPPARD frontman Joe Elliott, conducted earlier this month by Drew and Mike of Detroit's WRIF 101.1 FM, has been posted online at this location (Windows Media).

The DEF LEPPARD/JOURNEY tour kicked off on June 23 and is scheduled to run until September 23, when they close out the tour in Mansfield, Massachusetts.

DEF LEPPARD is supporting their new covers album called "Yeah!", which has sold 118,000 copies in the United States so far, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD is said to be "a heartfelt and hard-rocking tribute" to DEF LEPPARD's musical heroes of the late '60s and '70s — THE KINKS, BADFINGER, T. REX, DAVID BOWIE, SWEET, ROXY MUSIC, MOTT THE HOOPLE, FREE, FACES, and THIN LIZZY.
