DEEP PURPLE Drummer To Perform With Tribute Band

DEEP PURPLE drummer Ian Paice will be taking a break from the songwriting sessions for the new DP album to play a couple of Italian shows in February with the DEEP PURPLE tribute band GIANLUCA TAGLIAVINI.

The group, who feature in their ranks guitarist Max Magagni (Ian makes an appearance on Magagni's 2001 album "Twister"), will appear at the following cities/venues:

Feb. 19 – Bereguardo, ITA @ Il Boscaccio
Feb. 20 – Bologna, ITA @ Giostra Cafe

DEEP PURPLE are currently working on a new album with KID ROCK producer Michael Bradford for a tentative Aug. 1 release.
