DECAPITATED Explain F*CK THE COMMERCE Cancellation

May 28, 2006

Polish death metallers DECAPITATED have issued a statement regarding their non-appearance at this year's Fuck the Commerce festival, which took place May 25-27 at MZA (Mehrzweckhalle) in Luckau, Germany. The statement reads as follows:

"We did not appear at Fuck The Commerce this year due to not receiving any contract from the promoters, despite several requests. Firstly, promoters informed us that we will receive contract via fax. A couple of days after that (on May 12th) we got an information that they need a postal address to send it. On May 24th after not receiving anything via mail we requested sending contract via fax once again. We never got any reply. This is the whole story."

As previously reported, DECAPITATED shot the first video from their "Organic Hallucinosis" album in March. Check out stills from the production of the "Day 69" clip at this location.

"Organic Hallucinosis" was released in February via Earache Records. The follow-up to 2004's "The Negation" was recorded at Hertz Studio in Bialystok, Poland with producers Slawek and Wojtek Wieslawski and features artwork and layout by Seth (ROTTING CHRIST, PARADISE LOST).
