DEATH BREATH: New Album Update

DEATH BREATH — the Swedish old-school death metal project featuring former ENTOMBED drummer and main songwriter Nicke Andersson (most recently the frontman of rock 'n' roll band THE HELLACOPTERS) — has issued the following update:

"We have a finished [DEATH BREATH] album except for some vocals left to do.

"We've been touring most of the spring/summer with our other bands or doing albums, etc. That's just the way it is.

"[We] still can't say when we will put the next DEATH BREATH release out, but it will happen when we feel the time is right.

A unmixed version of a brand new DEATH BREATH track, "Obsessed By Sodomy", is available for streaming on the group's MySpace page.

DEATH BREATH's latest EP, "Let It Stink", was released in the U.S. in August 2007 via Relapse Records.

"Let It Stink" featured four brand new songs as well as three covers by BATHORY ("Sacrifice"), G.B.H. ("Lycantrophy") and DISCHARGE ("Maimed And Slaughtered"). The CD version of "Let It Stink" contained a brand new version of the video for the song "Death Breath" as well as the original one.
