DEAD BY APRIL's 'Losing You' Single Tops Swedish Chart

"Losing You", the first single from DEAD BY APRIL, the Swedish "pop/metal" act featuring former members of NIGHTRAGE, BY NIGHT, EVILDOER, MINDFALL and DEATHDESTRUCTION, has topped the official chart in the band's home country. The group says in a statement, "That is just really sick! A HUGE thank you to all the people who has bought the single and supported us! Truly unbelievable."

"Losing You" will be released as a digital single in the U.K. on May 11 via Spinefarm Records. The title cut will be available, along with bonus cut "My Saviour", plus the "Losing You" video (which can be seen below).

DEAD BY APRIL will make its debut U.K. appearance with a headline show on May 27 at the Barfly in Camden Town, North London. A support act will be announced shortly.

DEAD BY APRIL's first album was produced by Henrik Edenhed, who has previously worked with ROBYN, LAMBRETTA, TEDDYBEARS, CHRISTIAN WALTZ and THE SOUNDS. A summer release via Universal Music Sweden is expected.

According to the group's official bio, "DEAD BY APRIL is a collaboration between some free-spirited, like-minded musicians. It has evolved from just being a project to a full-time band in a very short amount of time."
