DAVID SHANKLE GROUP Part Ways With Singer, Seek Replacement

DAVID SHANKLE GROUP, the new project formed by former MANOWAR guitarist David Shankle, have parted ways with vocalist Trace Edward Zaber. Trace "has announced that he will take a leave of absence from his vocal duties with DAVID SHANKLE GROUP," reads a statement on the group's web site. "This announcement brings with it no bad energy or bad feelings of any kind. Trace will for the moment concentrate on finishing several novels that he has been commissioned to write. Trace will continue to be involved with DAVID SHANKLE GROUP, we all wish him great luck."

DAVID SHANKLE GROUP are now accepting submissions from any vocalist interested in auditioning for position of lead singer. Please submit a biography, photo, CD or cassette (CD preferred) to:

DAVID SHANKLE GROUP's debut album, "Ashes To Ashes", was released last June through MANOWAR's Magic Circle Music. The CD was said to feature "a broad mix of exceptional heavy metal songs, speedy instrumentals, and epic ballads in true heavy-metal fashion."
