DAVID SHANKLE GROUP: New Song Available For Streaming

July 29, 2012

"Ressecution", a brand new song from DAVID SHANKLE GROUP, the progressive power metal band founded by former MANOWAR guitarist David "The Shred Demon" Shankle, can be streamed in the YouTube clip below.

David was a member of MANOWAR from 1988 to 1994, playing on the epic album "The Triumph Of Steel" and co-writing "Master Of The Wind", "The Burning", "Ride The Dragon" and "Demon's Whip". David left in 1994, after countless sold-out tours all over the world, and attended Roosevelt Music University in Chicago to improve his jazz and classical guitar skills.

DAVID SHANKLE GROUP vocalist Warren Halvarson is a Chicago native who began his singing career in the mid-1980s while fronting a band called CRYSTAL AXE. Warren is one of the most respected and talented vocalists in the Chicago metal scene today. His range, power, clarity and dynamic stage presence are well known to legions of fans.

On bass is Mike Dooley, who grew up and lived entire life in or near the southwest side of Chicago. Currently the frontman for SLAYER tribute act HELL AWAITS, he was recruited this past May to dominate the art of shred with the DAVID SHANKLE GROUP.

DAVID SHANKLE GROUP drummer Gabriel Anthony is a true force in the music industry. Gabriel was so good that at the age of 17, he was already performing in clubs all over the Chicago area.

DSG's debut album, "Ashes To Ashes", was released in 2003 on Magic Circle Music. A sophomore effort, "Hellborn", followed in 2007.

DAVID SHANKLE GROUP is currently in the studio working on new songs for its third CD. David states, "This new album is guaranteed to melt your face."
