DAVE NAVARRO Talks About Recording With GLENN HUGHES

August 20, 2004

Former JANE'S ADDICTION/RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS guitarist Dave Navarro has revealed more details about his recent recording session with ex-DEEP PURPLE/BLACK SABBATH singer Glenn Hughes and RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS drummer Chad Smith, According to Navarro, the song — entitled "Soul Mover" — was recorded at the Sound Image studios in Van Nuys, California and will be included on Glenn's new studio album, due out in early 2005.

"I rolled into the studio and worked with Glenn and Chad for a while," Navarro wrote on his web site. "[Glenn's] album is really amazing. It kind of has a harder Lenny Kravitz vibe to it. We later sat around and shared old stories. Whenever I get around Chad, it is like no time has gone by. He is as great a guy as he is a drummer."
