DARZAMAT To Enter Studio In May

Poland's DARZAMAT will enter the studio in May to record their fourth album, tentatively due before the end of the year through Avantgarde Records.

The follow-up to last year's "Oniriad" will be the group's first album to feature new members Golem (drums, ex-DRAGON), Spectre (keyboards) and Nera (vocals, ex-MIDNIGHTDATE). Songtitles set to appear on the as-yet-untitled CD include "Era Aggression", "From Beyond" and "Time Of Obscure Emotions".

"The [new] stuff is harder than all the previous DARZAMAT albums," stated guitarist Chris. "But the music is still [full of] those dark emotions which brought DARZAMAT to life."

In other news, DARZAMAT will co-headline the Metal - Gothic Festival on March 6 at Estakada in Moscow, Russia. Other bands scheduled to perform at the festival include ENTWINE from Finland, MACBETH from Italy and SHABASH from Estonia.
