DARKTRIBE Signs With MASSACRE RECORDS

March 27, 2012

French metallers DARKTRIBE have inked a deal with Massacre Records. The band's debut album, "Mysticeti Victoria", will be released worldwide on August 24. The CD was recorded at Artmusic Studio in Nice with Sebb Camhi and was mixed and mastered at Finnvox Studios in Helsinki, Finland by Mikko Karmila (NIGHTWISH, MASTERPLAN) and Mika Jussila (SONATA ARCTICA, AMORPHIS).
According to a press release, "Mysticeti Victoria" "deals with the path of self-destruction to which the human civilization moves by ruining earth."

DARKTRIBE's sound is characterized by "powerful vocals, heavy guitars and progressive rhythms [with] melodic and symphonic parts."

DARKTRIBE was formed in 2009 by the Agnello brothers, Anthony (vocals) and Julien (drums). They were soon joined in the band by their longtime friends Bruno Caprani (bass) and Loïc Manuello (guitars).

DARKTRIBE quickly showed its passion of sharing music by recording its first EP, "Natural Defender", that same year.

DARKTRIBE is:

Anthony Agnello - Vocals
Loïc Manuello - Guitars
Bruno Caprani - Bass
Julien Agnello - Drums
