DARKSIDE: New Album Artwork Revealed

March 16, 2007

Austrian death metal band DARKSIDE will release its new album, "Amber – Skeletal Journeys through the Void", on March 26 through Austria's up-and-coming metal label Noisehead Records. Check out the cover artwork at this location.

Commented the band: "As [on] the last album, we again chose to work with Czech cover artist par excellance 'Deather', who, together with David Najbrt, again did an amazing job for us. Not only that they finally convinced us to modify our logo a bit, they also came up with wonderful ideas which ended up to express the feeling and title of album even more than we expected."

In other news, DARKSIDE has issued the following update:

"As you probably know by now, on the upcoming tour with our friends of MOONSPELL, we will be accompanied by an amazing young, talented guitar player from Italy called Janos Murri, who steps in for our guitarist Pit, who for private reasons will not be able to take part in the bands live activities over the next months. Janos is normally spreading his talents in his main band RESURRECTURIS but also is engaged in a band called PRIORITY (Swedish death metal with female growls) and recorded the latest DEMOLITION album with the band in Vienna last January: Obviously now also other people seem to have discovered Janos' talents, because he now endorses guitars from Blade guitars."
