DARKEST HOUR: 'The Tides' Video Teaser Available

March 9, 2010

A teaser for "The Tides", the new video from Washington D.C. metallers DARKEST HOUR, can be viewed below. The clip was helmed by the band's "close buddy" Joseph Pattisall and will make its online debut soon.

DARKEST HOUR is currently writing material for the follow-up to last year's "The Eternal Return" album. The band's next CD will be issued through an as-yet-undetermined new label following the group's split with Victory REcords, which released DARKEST HOUR's latest effort.

DARKEST HOUR will hit the road with THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, IWRESTLEDABEARONCE and ANIMALS AS LEADERS starting on March 11 in New York. The month-long trek will make a stop in Austin, Texas at the SXSW (South By Southwest) music festival, where the DARKEST HOUR guys will perform at the Full Metal Texas event on March 18 alongside IRON AGE, BORN OF OSIRIS, UPON A BURNING BODY, YOUR DEMISE and many others. DARKEST HOUR will also play a headlining show with PERIPHERY on April 14 in Mesa, Arizona. After a couple days off, DARKEST HOUR will travel to Ohio on April 18 to play at a house party for the grand prize winner of last year's "Eternal Giveaway" contest.

"The Eternal Return" was produced by Brian McTernan (SENSES FAIL, THRICE, FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES) at his Baltimore, Maryland studio, Salad Days.
