DARK TRANQUILLITY Forced To Pull Out Of Germany's HELLFLAME FESTIVAL - THE SOUTH SIDE OF HELL

October 14, 2009

Kalle Metz of The Agency Group Scandinavia, which represents Swedish melodic death metallers DARK TRANQUILLITY, has released the following statement to BLABBERMOUTH.NET:

"Unfortunately, the promoter of Hellflame festival in Germany has gone dark. He is not returning any attempts of communication and has not lived up to his end of the agreement in terms of travel arrangements etc, which leaves us to believe that he is not intending to go through with the show.

"It is very frustrating for us that people will show up at the door expecting a DARK TRANQUILLITY show not informed of the situation and we want to do what we can to avoid this.

"We apologize for any inconvenience and hope that we get the chance to meet you this Christmas instead at the 'Darkness Over X-Mas Tour'."

The Hellflame Festival - The South Side Of Hell is scheduled to take place on October 24, 2009 at Stadthalle Lichtenfels in Lichtenfels, Germany.

The following artists are being advertised as taking part in the event:

1349
AMORPHIS

BELPHEGOR
DARK TRANQUILLITY
ENSIFERUM
METSÄTÖLL
MORIBUND OBLIVION
