DARK FILTH FRATERNITY: Former ENTWINE Singer Launches New Project

April 8, 2005

DARK FILTH FRATERNITY, the Finnish progressive rock/metal project led by former ENTWINE singer Panu Willman (he sang on the group's first album, "The Treasures Within Hearts"),have completed work on their full-length debut, "The Book of Clear Light", tentatively due later in the year.

The follow-up to the group's 2004 EP, "Cleanse My Soul", "The Book of Clear Light" was recorded primarily at the Villvox Studios in Villähde as well as the Soundtrack Studios in Helsinki during January-February 2005. The record was mastered at the legendary Finnvox Studios in Helsinki on March 1 by Minerva Pappi.

The band made use of their old friend and engineer, Aleksanteri Kuosa, for this particular record because they felt that the efforts on the "Cleanse my Soul" EP were "an excellent example of the potential of this unholy alliance!" according to a post on the group's web site. "Although the record still sounds as earthy and heavy as the ep, the band decided to make use of the production facilities available to them."
