DARK DAYS AHEAD: Four Songs Posted Online

January 9, 2010

Finnish metallers DARK DAYS AHEAD, who feature in their ranks members of TIMO RAUTIAINEN & TRIO NISKALAUKAUS, MANUFACTURERS PRIDE and WHERE VICTIMS LIE, have uploaded four new tracks from their upcoming promotional CD on their MySpace page.

An excerpt from the band's official biography: "Formed amongst the concrete desolation of Jyväskylä, Finland, DARK DAYS AHEAD perform their very own blend of heavy and groovy metal guaranteed to grind you to the ground.

"Formed in 2005, DARK DAYS AHEAD combine elements ranging from rootsy rock to death metal in their music, all bound together with a healthy splash of dark intentions. The members' previous and current formations, including names like TIMO RAUTIANEN & TRIO NISKALAUKAUS, PRIVATE LINE, MANUFACTURER'S PRIDE, WHERE VICTIMS LIE, BONE5 and SACRED CRUCIFIX, among others, can only give you a vague hint of what you are about to witness. But the names mean nothing. It is only the music that matters.

"The first four songs recorded in 2008 with Mikko Ahlfors on vocals and Jimmy Salmi on drums were a mere warning of the storm yet to come. These four new tracks, recorded at SN-Audio in 2009 by Sami Niittykoski, will simply burn. (These songs also introduce Tony Kaikkonen on vocals and Ville Sivonen on drums.)"

DARK DAYS AHEAD is:

Tony Kaikkonen - Vocals
Jari Huttunen - Guitar
Jarkko Petosalmi - Guitar
Jukka Salonen - Bass
Ville Sivonen - Drums
