DANZIG Part With Drummer, Cancel ON THE WATERFRONT Appearance

DANZIG have parted ways with drummer Joey Castillo and are said to be in the process of lining up a replacement before making an official announcement next week. As a result of the line-up change, the group's previously-announced appearance at the On The Waterfront festival in Rockford, Illinois on Saturday, August 31st has been cancelled (the band were subsequently replaced on the bill by SOIL).

In other news, DANZIG's The Blackest of The Black Tour is due to kick off in October in the States, to be followed by a European and possibly Japanese trek.
