DANZIG: More Details Revealed About Halloween Tour

September 1, 2007

As BLABBERMOUTH.NET exclusively reported on August 29, Glenn Danzig is planning on hitting the road with DANZIG in October. According to a posting on the group's web site, "DANZIG will be announcing a handful of East Coast live shows for the week leading into Halloween. Looks like New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore and possibly Worcester/Boston [will be included]. West Coast Halloween shows may also be added. Danzig has said he will perform a few songs from the new 'Lost Tracks of Danzig' double CD at these shows. Fans don't want to miss these shows, as they will be the only ones for a while."

In other Danzig-related news, Glenn has finished producing the debut album from MISFITS/KRYST THE CONQUEROR guitarist Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein, entitled "Gorgeous Frankenstein". Due on October 2 via Evilive Records, the self-titled effort will feature "kick-ass art" by Simon Bisley, who has painted covers for "Lost Tracks of Danzig", "Danzig VI' and "Thrall: Demonsweat". Eight "blood-curdling" songs will appear on the CD, including "Man or Monster", "Devilgirl", "Reverse of God" and "Made in Hell".

DANZIG's video for the song "Crawl across Your Killing Floor" can be viewed below. The track is included on the recently released "Lost Tracks of Danzig" collection, a two-CD set of previously unreleased DANZIG tracks spaning the band's entire career — from the 1988 self-titled debut to the present.
