DANZIG: First 25th-Anniversary Tour Dates Announced

This year marks DANZIG's 25th anniversary and the band will play a series of live dates in the U.S. and in Europe. The first leg of the DANZIG 25th-anniversary tour has now been confirmed. All dates will feature DANZIG, plus Glenn Danzig and his former MISFITS bandmate Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein performing the music of the MISFITS. Special guests on these U.S. shows are CORROSION OF CONFORMITY and THE AGONIST.

The dates are as follows:

April 17 - Las Vegas, NV - House of Blues
April 19 - Denver, CO - Ogden Theater
April 20 - Albuquerque, NM - Sunshine Theater
April 22 - Austin, TX – Stubb's
April 23 - Corpus Christi, TX - Concrete Street
April 24 - Dallas, TX - Palladium
April 26 - Phoenix, AZ- Marquee Theater
April 27 - Pomona, CA - Fox Theater
April 28 - Ventura, CA - Ventura Theater

Glenn Danzig last year performed his "Legacy" career-spanning set featuring songs from DANZIG, SAMHAIN and MISFITS, in a number of U.S. cities. In addition, he played four DANZIG shows where was joined by Doyle Von Frankenstein as a "special guest."

DANZIG is putting the finishing touches on the as-yet-untitled covers record for a 2013 release.
