DAN SWANÖ Comments On Passing Of DISSECTION Frontman

Swedish producer/multi-instrumentalist Dan Swanö (EDGE OF SANITY, NIGHTINGALE, SECOND SKY, BLOODBATH) has commented on the passing of DISSECTION frontman Jon Nödtveidt.

Nödtveidt, 31, was found dead on Wednesday, August 16 at his apartment in Hässelby, a suburb of Stockholm, Sweden, the apparent victim of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Commented Swanö: "Jon was always nice to me. We even hugged a year ago at Wacken [Open Air festival in Germany]... I never really knew him, but all I can remember from him is a childish (in a positive way) 'flame' in his eyes. He was really 'into' whatever he did, and I guess that's why it took such a weird turn with all this Satanic stuff..."
