DAATH Apologizes For Tampa Cancellation

September 15, 2008

Georgia's DAATH was forced to cancel its appearance Saturday night (September 13) 13 at Jannus Landing in St. Petersburg, Florida alongside CARCASS, SUFFOCATION, NECROPHAGIST and others. The band says, "We want to extend an apology to all our fans who didn't get a chance to see us in Tampa [Saturday] night. There were factors beyond our control which prevented us from being able to make it, but we promise we'll be back soon enough touring behind our new album, 'The Concealers', under much better conditions, and we will make it up to each and every one of you."

Metal Mark of Metal Injection conducted an interview with Eyal Levi (guitar) and Kevin Talley (drums) of DAATH at the Atlanta date of the Thrash and Burn tour on August 19, 2008 at the Masquerade. The five-minute clip, which includes performance footage, can be viewed below.

DAATH recorded its new album, "The Concealers", with producer Jason Suecof (TRIVIUM, CHIMAIRA) and Mark Lewis of Florida's AudioHammer studios. The CD is due later in the year via Roadrunner Records.
