CRYOGENIC Announce New Singer

April 26, 2003

Australia's CRYOGENIC have announced the addition of singer Ryan David to the group's ranks. David replaces Steve Simmons, who amicably left the band last year.

Commented CRYOGENIC drummer Jenk: "We've known Ryan for a long time. I had been working with him on pre-production for his second solo album late last year when I noticed that his heavier direction really gelled with the newer melodic material we had been writing. When I contacted him [during a recent stay in] L.A. and told him that we were looking for a singer he was interested straight away. The next minute he's on a plane on the way over to L.A. for an audition! The rest is history. Ryan's vocal style is unique and he's one-of-a-kind".

CRYOGENIC will spend the next six weeks at their home studio in Sydney's Western Suburbs writing and rehearsing for their return to the U.S. in June. Upon their return to the States, CRYOGENIC will tour the West Coast continuously, and will perform several showcase gigs in and around L.A.
