CROWBAR To Tour With CORROSION OF CONFORMITY This Summer

April 16, 2005

New Orleans sludge-meisters CROWBAR have abandoned plans to embark on a U.S. headlining tour during June/July. According to a post on the group's wbe site, CROWBAR are now working out details to tour with CORROSION OF CONFORMITY during that time.

CROWBAR are continuing to tour in support of their latest album, "Lifesblood for the Downtrodden", available now on Candlelight Records. The band recently completed their first U.S. tour in support of the record, alongside labelmates ENTOMBED, PRO-PAIN and THE MIGHTY NIMBUS.

The follow-up to 2001's "Sonic Excess In Its Purest Form", "Lifesblood for the Downtrodden" was produced by the working team of Warren Riker (DOWN) and Rex Brown (PANTERA, DOWN). Brown also handled the bass duties on the album, which marks a return to the group's recording lineup of drummer Craig Nunenmacher (BLACK LABEL SOCIETY).
