CRISIS Looking For New Drummer

October 4, 2004

CRISIS have announced that they will be looking for a new drummer following the completion of their national tour with KITTIE and OTEP. The band are currently utilizing the services of original member Fred Waring III after previous drummer, Josh Florian, "busted his appendix" late last month and was unable to join the group on the road.

Drummers interested in applying for the position must send a bio (containing name, contact info, band experience, tour experience, musicial influences, any music school experience) and an audio or video recording of them playing the following four CRISIS songs: "A Graveyard for Bitches", "Waking the Dead", "Politics of Domination" and "Nomad". Send submissions to: Crisis c/o The End Records 331 Rio Grande #58 Salt Lake City, UT 84101, USA. If you are invited to audition, you will have to make your own way to California.

CRISIS are touring in support of their latest album, "Like Sheep Led To Slaughter", which came in May through The End/Children Of Rage Records. The follow-up to 1997's "The Hollowing" was recorded at Desert Moon Studios in Anaheim, Ca. with legendary producer Billy Anderson (CLUTCH, BRUTAL TRUTH, ORANGE GOBLIN, NEUROSIS, SLEEP). Singer Karyn Crisis, in collaboration with Steve Conard (CRISIS' webmaster),conceived the artwork for the CD package. Guest vocals on "Study In Cancer" were provided by Daniel Dismal of CREMATORIUM.
