CRESCENT SHIELD Begin Recording Debut Album

CRESCENT SHIELD, the California-based traditional melodic metal band featuring vocalist Michael Grant (ONWARD, LEGENDMAKER),guitarist Dan DeLucie (DESTINY'S END),drummer Craig Anderson (ENGINE, SEVEN WITCHES, IGNITE),and bassist Melanie Sisneros (SINERGY, THE IRON MAIDENS, NEW EDEN),have entered their own studio to begin recording their debut album, tentatively due later in the year through an as-yet-undetermined label. Drum tracks have been completed and the band have moved on to recording guitars.

Commented DeLucie: "Mike and I have been kicking these songs around for six years and it's a real treat to finally give them proper studio treatment. Craig's phenomenal drum performance was a great way to start things off."

Upon completion of the recording, CRESCENT SHIELD will seek label distribution.
