CRADLE OF FILTH: North American Tour To Kick Off In November

September 10, 2004

British extreme metallers CRADLE OF FILTH have issued a statement refuting reports that they have scheduled a North American tour beginning October 15 in Ottawa, ON. "If any other tour dates appear on any other web sites and not on our official page then we cannot be held resposible for them," the band write on their web site. "We are currently working on a North American tour for November/December and that will be announced here as soon as it is confirmed. Plans for when we come back from South America is to record the tracks for the special edition of 'Nymphetamine'."

CRADLE OF FILTH's new album, "Nymphetamine" (roughly translated as the druggish beast-like addiction to beautiful, classical women),is scheduled for release on September 28 through Roadrunner Records. The follow-up to last year's "Damnation and a Day" was produced by ANTHRAX guitarist Rob Caggiano, who has previously worked with the group during the mixing stage for "Damnation…". Mixing duties were handled by Colin Richardson (FEAR FACTORY, MACHINE HEAD, NAPALM DEATH).
