COVERED CALL Taps LION’S SHARE Guitarist For New Album Mix

January 2, 2013

Swedish melodic rockers COVERED CALL have tapped producer/engineer Lars Chriss (LION’S SHARE) to mix their brand new studio album, tentatively due in early 2013 via an as-yet-undetermined record label.

The band's sophomore CD, "Impact", will mark the recording debut of COVERED CALL's new singer, Göran Edman (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, JOHN NORUM, MADISON),and bass player, Andy Loos (LION’S SHARE, GLORY).

"To hear Göran belt out the vocals made me shiver," says COVERED CALL founding member and drummer Ronny Svanströmer. "It was exactly what I pictured the songs like."

COVERED CALL's North American debut, "Money Never Sleeps", was released in January 2009 (end of March 2009 in Europe) via Blistering Records. The CD was recorded and mixed at Studio Fredman by Fredrik Nordström (IN FLAMES, HAMMERFALL, DIMMU BORGIR) and Henrik Udd.
