COUNCIL OF THE FALLEN To Play First Show In Over A Year

Tampa, Florida-based COUNCIL OF THE FALLEN will play its first live show in well over a year featuring the group's new lineup on October 28 at the Brass Mug in Tampa, Florida. Joining the band on guitar for the show will be RESURRECTION's John Astl. A flyer for the concert can be viewed at this location.

COUNCIL OF THE FALLEN recently completed work on a six-song EP, entitled "An Examination of Being". The track listing for the effort is as follows:

01. Introspection and the Loss of Denial
02. As If a Rose I Wither
03. Reflection, An Endless Endeavour
04. Bloodoath
05. ...in the mirror
06. Scars upon My Flesh

The first three songs were recorded in September 2006 at Mana Studios in Tampa with Brian Elliott. The lineup on the recording is as follows:

Scott Patrick - Bass
Dave Kinkade - Drums
Marius Kozlowski - Solo Guitar
Kevin Quirion - Guitars, Vocals

The last three cuts were laid down at Roddy Studios in Deerfield Beach, Florida with Derek Roddy. The lineup on that recording is as follows:

Kevin Quirion - Guitar, Vocals
Derek Roddy - Drums, Additional Vocals And Guitars

"An Examination of Being" will be self-released before the end of the year.

COUNCIL OF THE FALLEN's last album, "Deciphering the Soul", was released in 2004 through Season Of Mist. They have since split with the company and are currently seeking a new label home.
