CORROSION OF CONFORMITY To Play Three New Songs On MOTÖRHEAD Tour

CORROSION OF CONFORMITY guitarist Woody Weatherman has posted the following message on the group's official web site:

"We got a new album ['In the Arms of God'] coming out April 5 [via Sanctuary] and a tour starting March 9, 2005. It looks like this trip with the mighty MOTÖRHEAD will be around seven weeks or so in the USA and Canada (if they'll let us in this time). I think we're gonna throw three new songs off 'In the Arms of God' in the live set along with a few songs off past albums we like to jam on.

"World renowned drummer dude and fellow North Carolinian Jason Paterson will be joining myself, Pepper, and Mike Dean out the road this go round. We are all looking forward to this deal 'cause it's been too damn long since we were out there."

As previously reported, songtitles set to appear on "In the Arms of God" include "En los Brazos del Dios", "Never Turns to More", "Stone Breaker" and "World on Fire". Producing the album was C.O.C.'s longtime collaborator John Custer. Besides working on four of the band's previous albums, Custer also produced C.O.C. bassist Mike Dean's track on Dave Grohl's PROBOT project and C.O.C.'s contribution to "Nativity In Black", the BLACK SABBATH tribute compilation. Playing drums was New Orleans' Stanton Moore, skinsman for the renowned jazz-funk combo GALACTIC. A preview of the album cover artwork can be found at this location.
