CORROSION OF CONFORMITY: GALACTIC Drummer To Guest On New Album

August 8, 2004

CORROSION OF CONFORMITY guitarist Woody Weatherman has posted the following message on the band's official web site:

"[Bassist] Mike Dean and myself just rolled back up that long road from New Orleans to Raleigh after about a week and a half of solid recording down there. [Guitarist/vocalist] Pepper [Keenan] is coming back up in a couple weeks. Stanton Moore [web site] from [popular funk band] GALACTIC joined us in the studio and laid it down on the drums. It's absolutely smokin' and just one of those freaky things that comes together and works when some might not expect it to. So this monster is off and running and we're still looking at early '05 for a release. We'll be holed up here in Raleigh at a couple different studios over the next several weeks working on guitars and such...

"Oh yeah, I went and saw OUTLAW ORDER while in Nola [New Orleans], was way killer. Also saw Stanton jam with George Porter and Johnny Vidocovich at Tipitinas one night, it blew my head off."
