CORNERSTONE Prepare To Record Third Album
CORNERSTONE, the project featuring ROYAL HUNT bassist Steen Mogensen and ex-RAINBOW/current YNGWIE MALMSTEEN vocalist Doogie White, are in the process of putting ideas together for the group's third album, tentatively due in the fall. Says Doogie: "Once again, Steen and I are exchanging new ideas. I think maybe this time we will go for a more live texture to the sound. I have sent Steen four or five ideas I have been working on. It's a good way to work as we have time to let the songs breathe and we come at them from different angles than if we were sitting writing together in the same room. We see and hear things differently, and I think that's what makes it exciting. There are no rules, no barriers."
The follow-up to last year's "Human Stain" will be recorded in Steen's hometown of Copenhagen, Denmark. Before that, Steen will record a new album with ROYAL HUNT.
