Swedish metallers CONSTRUCDEAD have been confirmed for the Armageddon Open Air, set to take place September 8 at Tivoliparken in Kristianstad, Sweden. Also scheduled to appear are FREEDOM CALL, NOCTURNAL RITES, SUPREME MAJESTY, CLOUDSCAPE, SONIC SYNDICATE, BODY CORE, INSISION, PROSECUTOR and SISTER SIN.

In other news, CONSTRUCDEAD will open for TESTAMENT in Stockholm, Sweden in August. The exact date and venue has not yet been announced.
CONSTRUCDEAD is scheduled to enter the studio later in the year to record its fourth CD. Songtitles set to appear on the album include "Cataclysm", "Transfixed", "My Haven", "Tragic Kingdom", "A Godess Breaches Through Me", "Spiritual Shift", "The One Beside Me" and "No Exit".
The band previously stated about the new material, "I think that there will be something for everyone on this album. Most of the material though, is very fast, heavy and hard. But we managed to squeeze in a few melodies here and there as well. I can guarantee some serious blasting!!!"
CONSTRUCDEAD recently parted ways with drummer Erik Thyselius (TERROR 2000) and bassist Viktor Hemgren. No reason was given for their departures.
CONSTRUCDEAD's third album, "The Grand Machinery", was released in September 2005 via Black Lodge Records. The CD was recorded at Fear and Loathing Studio (co-owned by CLAWFINGER and MESHUGGAH) with producer Jocke Skog.
