CODE Joined by Former CRADLE OF FILTH Drummer

July 26, 2007

British/Norwegian black metal project CODE, featuring new vocalist Simen Hestnaes (a.k.a. ICS Vortex; DIMMU BORGIR, ex-ARCTURUS),bassist/backing vocalist Viper (a.k.a. Vicotnik from DHG) and guitarist/songwriter Aort, has recruited a new drummer — Adrian Erlandsson (AT THE GATES, CRADLE OF FILTH) will feature on the band's next album and will also perform live with the band.

"We are very pleased to announce that Adrian will be playing on the forthcoming second album," offers guitarist Aort. "His great reputation and skill go without saying and in addition, as we both live in England it will make for a more interactive writing and recording process. We are sure that his punishing style is going to fit the new CODE material perfectly....it is already shaping up to be a killer album! Asgeir Mickelson (SPIRAL ARCHITECT, BORKNAGAR),who previously had agreed to drum for us is hyper busy with numerous other projects at the moment so it has worked out great for all concerned."

The follow-up to "Nouveau Gloaming" will be out on Tabu Recordings next year.
