CLAWFINGER Frontman: 'We've Been Reasonably Productive And Damn Disciplined'

December 21, 2006

Frontman Zak Tell of the Swedish rap/metal combo CLAWFINGER has issued the following update on the writing/ recording sessions for the group's new studio album:

"We're closing in on Christmas and we're about to take a break to be with our friends and families! Today [Wednesday, Dec. 20] will be my last day in the studio as my son starts his holidays early tomorrow afternoon. In other words, these are my last three hours in the studio with Jocke [Skog, keyboards]. If things go well, we might manage get an additional song to add to the collection. We have 9-10 tracks or something like that, so we've been reasonably productive and damn disciplined, if I may say so myself! It's not all great stuff, obviously, but there are some gems in the pile and others that need to be worked on more, but they all have potential!"

CLAWFINGER's latest album, entitled "Hate Yourself with Style", was released in the U.S. in February via Nuclear Blast Records.
