CLAWFINGER Finish Filming New Video

Swedish rap-metallers CLAWFINGER spent this past weekend in Oslo, Norway filming the video for their new single.

Commented frontman Zak Tell: "So the weekend from hell is over! Actually it wasn't all that bad although Saturday evening and night were spent travelling to Oslo to record a video for our first single!

"Left home at 21:45 and missed the subway train by a minute and had to take a taxi in to the central station where I met up with Jocke and took a bus to Örebro where André picked us up and we drove on to Oslo! The sad part was that it was my girlfriend's birthday and we had a party at home which I missed the last 5 hours of, the good part is that I was already quite drunk when I left which made the travel a lot easier for me, but I guess it made it harder for André & Jocke he he!

"Anyway, we reached Oslo at 06:15 or something like that and crashed directly as we had to get up again at 12 to go to the video shoot location, still five and a half hours is a hell of a lot better than nothing! Things got delayed but by two'ish we were shooting the video, or actually videos, as we were doing two different sets in one go to save time, money & work!

"It was a tough afternoon, evening and night and as I refused to learn how to mime the songs I had basically lost my voice by the time it was all done with, what a fucking pro I am!

"Anyway, I think the results may turn out to be very nice but it is a bit hard to tell what is really going on when you're always in front of the camera, Thomas, the director, is a cool guy and did a CLAWFINGER documentary already back in 1994 so I have high hopes! Still I'm not expecting an oscar winner if that is anything to even go by?:D Finally, at 02:15 we were done with everything and we quickly packed our bags, said goodbye & thanx to everyone who helped out during the making of the video & jumped in our cars for the approximately six-hour drive back to Stockholm. I was back in my apartment by 09:15 and boy was I happy that my son has just started at playschool and wasn't gonna be home for another 4 hours! Of course, I couldn't get to sleep anyway even though I only slept for an hour and a half in the car but when my son got home and had his late lunch nap I joined him! So now all we can do is wait for the end result & hope that it looks good enough to get played a few times on some cool music channels out if there are even any out there! (no MTV does not count!:D)"
