CIRCUS MAXIMUS Sign European Deal With FRONTIERS RECORDS

Norwegian melodic/progressive metal band CIRCUS MAXIMUS have signed a European deal with Frontiers Records is for the release of their debut album, entitled "The 1st Chapter".

Commented vocalist Michael Eriksen: "This seems to be a match made in heaven, as Frontiers Records has a long history of working with only the best melodic metal/hard rock bands in the world and CIRCUS MAXIMUS are definitely one of those".

CIRCUS MAXIMUS' sound is being described in a press release as "a unique mixture of progressive technical metal and melodic hard rock" and a must "for all fans of SYMPHONY X, DREAM THEATER and TNT."

"The 1st Chapter", due on May 16, will contain the following track listing:

01. Sin (mp3 sample)
02. Alive (mp3 sample)
03. Glory of the Empire (mp3 sample)
04. Biosfear
05. Silence From Angels Above
06. Why Am I Here?
07. The Prophecy
08. The 1st Chapter
09. Haunted Dreams (exclusive bonus track for Europe)

The album features cover artwork by Mattias Norén / ProgArt Media (EVERGREY, KOTIPELTO, DEREK SHERINIAN) while the album was mixed by Tommy Hansen (JORN, HELLOWEEN).

As previously reported, CIRCUS MAXIMUS have been announced as one of 10 bands set to perform at this year's ProgPower USA festival in Atlanta, GA.
