CHTHONIC Goes Unplugged In Taiwan (Video)

September 5, 2011

Video footage of vocalist Freddy Lim of Taiwanese metallers CHTHONIC talking about the band's new album, "Takasago Army", prior to CHTHONIC's special unplugged show in Yilan, Taiwan on August 27 can be seen below. Also available is video footage of the group's acoustic performance.

CHTHONIC's new album, "Takasago Army", will be released in North America on September 6 via Spinefarm Records. Produced by Rickard Bengtsson (ARCH ENEMY, NEMESIS) at Sweet Spot Studios in Halmstad, Sweden, this 10-track outing completes a trilogy of CHTHONIC releases, telling a story that binds together the band's "Seediq Bale" and "Mirror Of Retribution" albums, released in 2007 and 2009, respectively.

Coinciding with the North American release of the record, CHTHONIC will embark on a three-week tour supporting ARCH ENEMY. The North American Khaos 2011 trek will commence on September 8 in Maryland and steamroll its way across the country and Canada. DEVILDRIVER and SKELETONWITCH will also appear on the bill.
