CHTHONIC Bassist Nominated For Gorezone Magazine Award

June 11, 2010

Doris Yeh, the bassist of the Taiwanese black metal band CHTHONIC, was nominated as Goremate of the Year at the annual GoreZone Magazine Awards, which will take place at London's prestigious Prince Charles Cinema on October 2 and October 3, 2010.

Doris was surprised by the nomination, but this crossover achievement is not the only one she has made so far. She has been the cover girl of FHM magazine, GQ Girl of GQ magazine, and Favorite Lady of Front magazine in U.K., and she has been chosen as The Hottest Chick of All Time by Revolver magazine in the United States. In 2009, she played a role in a Taiwanese movie "Tears" which has been nominated as The Best Film in Taipei Film Festival, Canada Film Festival, and Munich Film Festival 2010. And she has been invited to attend Karlovy Vary International Film Festival this July as well.

Doris and her band CHTHONIC are now preparing their new single which will be released in the September, and will tour with ARCH ENEMY in the U.K. in this November.
