CHRIS CAFFERY To Team Up With TIMO KOTIPELTO For European Tour

January 24, 2007

SAVATAGE/TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA guitarist Chris Caffery will be teaming up with STRATOVARIUS singer Timo Kotipelto for a European tour beginning on February 16 in Budapest, Hungary. The two artists will also share the stage at the Pestpop festival in Wieze, Belgium on April 21.

Caffery recently completed work on his new solo album, "Pins and Needles", tentatively due later in the year via an as-yet-undisclosed label. The follow-up to 2004's "Faces" and 2005's collection of bonus tracks and new compositions, "W.A.R.P.E.D.", was originally scheduled to be released through Greece's Black Lotus Records, but after the company closed its doors last year, Caffery was forced to seek a new label home.
