CHIMAIRA Bassist Forced To Miss SOUNDS OF THE UNDERGROUND Dates

July 23, 2007

CHIMAIRA bassist Jim LaMarca has been forced to miss a few shows on the current Sounds of the Underground tour due to a death in his family. Filling in on bass for the affected dates are Beefcake (GWAR),Paul Romanko (SHADOWS FALL),Andy Williams (EVERY TIME I DIE) and CHIMAIRA frontman Mark Hunter.

Professionally filmed video footage of CHIMAIRA's performance at this year's Graspop Metal Meeting, which took place June 22-24 in Dessel, Belgium, has been posted at YouTube.

An eight-minute video interview with CHIMAIRA frontman Mark Hunter, conducted by Finland's Get In The Pit magazine at this year's Provinssirock festival (June 15-17) in Seinäjoki, Finland, has been posted at this location.

CHIMAIRA will team up with SOILWORK, CALIBAN and SONIC SYNDICATE for the "Eastpak Antidote" European tour this fall.
