CHILDREN OF BODOM Single Certified Gold!

CHILDREN OF BODOM's latest single, "You're Better Off Dead", has been certified gold in Finland for sales in excess of 5,000 copies. Also included on the CD is the group's cover of THE RAMONES classic "Somebody Put Something In My Drink".

As previously reported, CHILDREN OF BODOM will shortly enter Astia studio in Lappeenranta, Finland to begin recording the follow-up to 2000's Follow The Reaper, due out on January 7th, 2003 through Spinefarm Records.

In other news, CHILDREN OF BODOM will perform a 35-minute "showcase" gig at Nosturi in Helsinki on September 28th as part of the Spinefeast festival.
