CHILDREN OF BODOM Set Release Date, Title For 'Best Of' Compilation

Finland's CHILDREN OF BODOM have set a September 3 release date for their forthcoming "Best Of " album, titled "Bestbreeder (1997-2000)", to be released exclusively in Japan through Toy's Factory Records. As an added bonus, the album will include the group's cover of BILLY IDOL's "Rebel Yell", recorded during a recent session at keyboardist Janne Warman's Beyond Abilities studio.

CHILDREN OF BODOM's latest CD, "Hate Crew Deathroll", will receive its long-overdue U.S. release on September 23 through Century Media Records. The group, who recently parted ways with rhythm guitarist Alexander "Aku" Kuoppala, will team up with DIMMU BORGIR, NEVERMORE and HYPOCRISY for a North American tour in November.
