CHILDREN OF BODOM Comment On ICED EARTH Tour

February 4, 2004

Finnish melodic thrash quintet CHILDREN OF BODOM have issued the following statement regarding their upcoming North American tour with ICED EARTH:

"We finished our first American tour in late December with a very satisfied feeling. We had really no expectations when we got on the road, and the response from audience, and especially from our fans, was great. That was much more than we expected. Now we have another chance to come over, and we are looking forward to headbanging and having fun with our fans again. Thanks to all the people who were supporting during those six weeks of touring. See you soon."

As previously reported, CHILDREN OF BODOM's tour with ICED EARTH is set to begin on April 19 and run through the end of May. The group wrapped up a highly successful tour alongside DIMMU BORGIR, NEVERMORE and HYPOCRISY this past fall in support of "Hate Crew Deathroll", their critically acclaimed new release. The anticipation surrounding their return to the U.S. is overwhelming, and this time around they will be playing an extended set. CHILDREN OF BODOM just shot a video for "Sixpounder". Look for it to make its Fuse and MTV2 debut next month.
