CHEVELLE Shooting New Video In Secret

September 20, 2007

The Pulse of Radio (formerly Launch Radio Networks) reports: CHEVELLE recently released "I Get It" as the latest single from the band's fourth album, "Vena Sera", and if you're looking for a video for the song, there's one on the way. But drummer Sam Loeffler told The Pulse of Radio that he didn't want to say too much about it yet. "It's kind of a secret. We'll see what happens when it comes up. The funny thing about is that we actually did it behind everyone's backs. We actually did it ourselves. We paid for it ourselves, we hired the director, the people and everything. We said, 'We don't really want to be in it,'and so in order to have enough control over it, we decided we'd just do it ourselves. So I'm excited to see what it turns out as, if it turns out really, really weird or not."

Loeffler did say that the band hired two friends who are professional comedians to come up with a treatment for the clip.

CHEVELLE is currently on a fall U.S. tour that extends into mid-November. The trio stops Thursday night (September 20) in Colorado Springs.
