CHAINFIST Completes Work On Debut Album

December 16, 2008

On October 4, Danish metal quintet CHAINFIST entered the new Six Strings Studios owned by Søren Jensen (Niflheim Studios) to begin tracking its debut album entitled "Black Out Sunday". Over the course of seven weekends, 15 songs were recorded, and out of those, 12 were sent to Ziggy of ZigZound, responsible for producing bands such as ILLDISPOSED, HATEPHERE and MERCENARY.

Commented singer Anders Brandt: "It has been rough process of recording and CHAINFIST has evolved quite a bit through this period. But we are happy with the hard work we have put into this project and hope that the listeners can relate to the 12 tracks Ziggy and Søren have produced. It has been extremely hard, and we have chosen not to take the 'easy way through with this release, which you will definitely be able to hear."

"Black Out Sunday" track listing:

01. Free Me
02. Edge Of The World
03. Evolution

08. In Your Face
09. Stay
