CESAR SOTO: Why I Left PISSING RAZORS

October 22, 2002

Former PISSING RAZORS guitarist Cesar Soto has attributed his departure from the group to "personal differences between myself and the current existing members of PR. I felt that my thoughts and opinions were overlooked on many occasions by the existing bandmates and management. I felt the best thing to do was leave the band altogether," the guitarist told BLABBERMOUTH.NET.

Since leaving PISSING RAZORS, Soto has teamed up with fellow ex-PR members Joe Rodriguez (vocals) and Mat Lynch (guitar) in a new band called FUELED II FIRE. "This band, we feel, will be more promising as a unit," Cesar explained. "We are currently writing and hope to start playing out and shopping next month. We do hope to hear from friends we made in the past. We want to bring the fans of PISSING RAZORS and WICK=WAR=BURN [Joe and Mat's last project] something new that we are putting all our hearts into."

FUELED II FIRE — whose lineup is completed by drummer Danny Contreras (ex-WICK=WAR=BURN) and bassist Hector Gallardo (ex-ANGELBURN) — plan to spend the next couple months recording and shopping around for a record deal. Working song titles include: "All Or Nothing", "Colossal" and "New World Resurrected". An official web site will be launched shortly. In the meantime, you can post messages for the group via their official message board at this location.
