CEREMONIAL CASTINGS Working On Concept Album Based On Salem Witch Trials

May 1, 2007

American "deathphonic black metal" warriors CEREMONIAL CASTINGS have issued the following update:

"As some may already know, CEREMONIAL CASTINGS has been talking for some time about releasing a concept album based of the Salem Witch Trials. Especially being that two of the three members are direct descendants (grandsons) of one of the witch killers himself: Judge Ha(w)thorne. So now the time has come where CC has gathered their material and will be entering the studio. The album will be titled 'Salem 1692' and will consist of 11 brand new tracks. Planned to be released in the fall of 2007.

"For those of you familiar with The Salem Witch Trials and The Crucible will find that this album will venture into realms that even those events did not document. The story will be distorted into the actual practices of witchcraft and conjurations. And hopefully Salem will never be looked at the same again."

"Salem 1692" projected track listing (subject to change):

01. Beneath The Sabbath Moon
02. Where The Witches Waltz
03. The Devil In Salem
04. Obsidian Spells Of Hysteria
05. The Dreamstalk Masquerade
06. The Crucible & The Cross
07. Damned Be Those Of The Craft
08. Onwards To Gallows Hill
09. Stones Upon The Warlock
10. When Winter Spectres Come
11. The Search For Tranquility
