CEPHALIC CARNAGE To Record New Album In November/December

May 31, 2006

Denver, Colorado's CEPHALIC CARNAGE have issued a lengthy update via their official web site. A couple of excerpts from the posting follow:

"It's been a minute since we've updated, but we've been busy keeping the wheels of CEPHALIC running, writing new tunes, playing shows and dealing with the Jawsh situation [referring to the departure of bassist Jawsh Mullen]. We miss him as he was a true brother and road warrior indeed, but we have a new cat named Nick who has been filling in quite well. He plays in a local Denver band called AINMATTER.

"Our goal is to continue to bring forth our brand of Rocky Mountain hydro grind! And push beyond what you've come to expect from CEPHALIC.

"We will continue writing new songs for our new Relapse CD, to be recorded in November and December to be released in May of 2007."

CEPHALIC CARNAGE's most recent album, "Anomalies", was released in March 2005 via Relapse Records.
