CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN: More Dates Announced

CAVALERA CONSPIRACY the new project from SEPULTURA founding members Max Cavalera (guitar, vocals; also in SOULFLY) and Igor Cavalera (drums) will team up with THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, THROWDOWN, BURY YOUR DEAD and INCITE for a North American tour in July. Confirmed dates are as follows:

July 20 - New York, NY @ The Fillmore at Irving Plaza

July 24 - Grand Rapids, MI @ Orbit Room
July 25 - Toronto, ON @ Toronto Island Wakefest
July 26 - Calgary, AB @ Monsters of Rock
July 27 - St. Paul, MN @ Myth
July 29 - Englewood, CO @ Gothic Theater
July 31 - San Francisco, CA @ The Fillmore
Aug. 02 - Anaheim, CA @ House of Blues
Aug. 05 - Hollywood, CA @ House of Blues

According to a posting on CAVALERA CONSPIRACY's MySpace page, "the select shows for this tour may be [the band's] only performances in the U.S. in support of 'Inflikted' [CC's debut album]."

As previously reported, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY will play a one-off show headlining show at the Astoria in London, England on Tuesday, June 17. Tickets for the concert are on sale now at www.livenation.co.uk and are also available from box offices and all usual agents.

"Inflikted" sold 9,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at No. 72 on The Billboard 200 chart.

Max Cavalera was interviewed a few weeks ago by Andrew Haug of Triple J's "Full Metal Racket" (based in Australia). Download the 16-minute audio file in MP3 format at this location (6 MB).
