CATARACT Part Ways With Bassist, Seek Replacement

June 16, 2006

Swiss metalcore band CATARACT have parted ways with bassist Michael Henggeler. "We thank him for everything in the past 8 years and wish him all the best for his future!!!" the band write in a statement. "We are now looking for an immediate replacement. We need a dedicated person that is willing to play a lot, take part in regular rehearsals, spend your holydays touring with the coolest bands, take some crazy rides and spend weekends in vans, on stages and in foreign beds.

"You should bring talent and experience in bands if possible, and it would be ace if you listen to lots of metal and hardcore. You should be loving this as we do, willing to share a future vision in the band and not being afraid of changes and discussions. Creativity is a must.

"We offer all of the above and some nice extras such as an endorsement deal, a record contract, forthcoming touring all over Europe and more. There is a bright future ahead for CATARACT. We want you to be part of it.

"Just send your application to [email protected]. Write everything we would need to know about you. Don't forget to write down your phone number too! You will get an answer within a few days."

Due to Michael's departure, CATARACT have been forced to cancel their previously announced shows in Stuttgart and Berchtesgaden.
