CARPATHIAN FOREST Working On New Album, DVD

January 2, 2009

Norwegian black metallers CARPATHIAN FOREST, who haven't performed live since 2006, have confirmed that they will play a few shows in 2009, including a co-headlining appearance at the Inferno festival, which will be held April 8-11, 2009 in Oslo. Since the band will not have a new album out to promote at these shows, CARPATHIAN FOREST's set will focus on the group's old classics, many of which have never been played live before. The concerts will include guest musicians, a new setlist and a new stage setting. In addition, the performances will be filmed for an upcoming DVD release.

CARPATHIAN FOREST is busy writing the follow-up album to "Fuck You All!!!!" and is currently negotiating with various record labels.

"Fuck You All!!!!" entered the Norwegian album chart at position No. 25. The band has since ended its collaboration with France's Season of Mist Records.
